About Me

I was born on May 22, 1972, in Malatya. After completing my primary, middle, and high school education in 1988, I entered Ege University Faculty of Medicine in the same year. I graduated in June 1994. From October 1994 to December 1996, I completed my mandatory service at Zonguldak Çaycuma Saltukova Health Center. I completed my specialization training between January 1997 and July 2002 in the Department of General Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, presenting my thesis titled 'An Experimental Comparison of Grafts Used in Posterior Rectopexy Operations for Rectal Prolapse.'

I fulfilled my military service duties at İzmir Narlıdere Engineering School and Training Center Command between September and October 2000.

Within the field of General Surgery, I am particularly interested in Laparoscopic Surgery, Proctology, and Hepatobiliary Surgery. In my spare time, I engage in sports, music, and reading. I am a licensed competitive swimmer and participate in all open-water swimming competitions held in Turkey, including races like the Istanbul Strait, Çanakkale Strait, Kaş-Meis, and Alanya open-water swimming marathons. I am married and the father of two daughters.
